It would have taken you some digging on our website, but I have a site I recommended to our teachers that has a nice list of Internet Sites for Parents. I shared it with them when we worked on setting up some webpages. This site in particular gives a pretty nice list of helpful websites covering a variety of topics from single parenting, to college saving, to children's health, etc. Kinda heavy duty.
I have a fun site that I bookmarked a long time ago that I've been browsing lately: http://www.babble.com/. Here is part of their mission statement for the site: "We created Babble for one very simple reason: we can't find a magazine or community that speaks to us as new parents. Every publication we encounter presents procreation as a cute and cuddly experience, all pink and powder blue, at best an interior decorating opportunity, at worst a housekeeping challenge. None of it is true to the experience we are having, and that we see around us."
A recent Babble list that might be fun: 10 Best iPhone Apps for Pre-Readers http://www.babble.com/products/toddler-products/iphone-apps-for-kids-preschool-toddler-activities-reading-writing/
This site was featured on the Today Show back in August that you might find useful: http://www.coolmompicks.com/.
And finally, I may have struck gold with the list I found here: Top Parenting Websites!
